Youth - Journal Making (Ages 7+)

For ages 7 and up, a  fun and educational arts activity for your March Break! 

In this workshop we will learn some basic bookbinding techniques and make a couple small books. We will learn about materials for books and how to use the pamphlet stitch technique, as well as a few additional methods to make our journals.

We endeavor to use easy to source materials in all our classes so participants can continue to practice these crafts and techniques on their own if they so wish to!

This class is $30 per registrant. All materials are included. The class is 3 hours long and instructed by local artist Jeffrey Macklin of Jackson Creek Press.

A completed permission form must be submitted for each participant at the beginning of the class. If the participant and yourself are both comfortable please complete and submit a photo release as well.
