Gourd Tea Light Holders were very popular at our Christmas Sales last year, so we thought you might like to make your own this year as a gift for someone on your list. Using a prepared gourd, you will learn to drill a pattern of your design to allow light out in an interesting pattern. Some patterns will be available to stimulate your creativity. You will be learn to dye the gourd with a colour of your choice. Then you will seal the inside and outside of the gourd for the finishing effect. You will be using a small cannonball gourd, a Dremel tool and a drill.

The Instructor will provide a small cannonball gourd and drill bits. A few patterns will be available.

Students will need to bring  an apron, dust mask and protective gloves.

If you have a rotary tool or small drill, please bring them along.
