Want to learn the basics of basketry? Create a small simple reed basket to hold those little loose items lying around on your counters. 

The teacher will supply a prepared circular piece of gourd to use as a base, pre-cut flat or round reed both natural and dyed, and decorative seagrass weavers.

Students should bring a small pail to hold wet reed, and scissors if possible.
