Turning Wooden Goblets

This class will cover the principles for turning wooden goblets. Instruction will cover blank selection, blank preparation, design considerations and turning techniques as well as tool selection. Student should know how to use the skew chisel, spindle gouge, roughing gouge and parting tool. The addition of encapsulated rings will be explored.

Prerequisite: Basic Woodworking or demonstrated experience
