04AC 11-2 Carved Peony Gourd

This hard shell gourd vase is filled with twinkle lights accented by the black interior. The exterior of the gourd is varnish natural gourd skin. The appealing feature is a hand carved flower with leaves set in a black circle. The background has been carved out exposing the interior and the twinkle lights. The flower has been painted in pink tones and the leaves in green. The upper rim features a row of imbedded glass elongated black beads.
